On Saturday, May 22, 2004, Tranquil Space hosted a special evening event fusing fashion, passion and celebration. The soiree honored our first year in our P street home and the unique trunk show proudly introduced an expansion of TranquiliT boutique. These additions featured new yoga wear designed by Kimberly Wilson, to be playfully worn both on the mat and on the town, and added lines from To The Max (BCBG's more reasonably priced collection), Sweetees, and Sweet Pea. The TranquiliT trunk show, a special preview for early arrivers, was a great success! In addition to retail therapy and a chance for fellow yogis to mingle off the mat, this exciting evening also featured yoga demonstrations, a dj spinning funky tunes, complimentary chair massages, raffles for free yoga and boutique items, and an abundance of wine and cheese. A portion of the proceeds from the trunk show went to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
