what is the class cancellation policy?
You can sign up for class online. Reservations may be cancelled online at least 1 hour in advance by signing in, going to "My Info"/"My Schedule". Reservations cannot be cancelled by phone. We will hold your reservation for 10 minutes after class starts, after which it will be given to clients waiting to get in. If there is no one waiting to get into class you can enter up to 15 minutes late.
what is the teacher training cancellation and refund policy?
before submitting an application to any tranquil space
teacher training program, we strongly encourage applicants
to consider the time and resource investments required on
the path to becoming a yoga teacher, ensuring that the
date(s) and time(s) chosen work for the applicant.
the specified deposit is due with the application, and is
non-refundable. if accepted, the balance is due by the date
indicated in order to hold one's spot. late fees may be
applied to late payments. if one is not accepted, the
deposit will be refunded.
if a student decides that s/he is unable to complete the
level 1, level 2 or 500-hour teacher training, the student
may write an email or letter to the studio manager of
tranquil space (info@tranquilspace.com;
1632 17th st. nw, washington, dc 20009) with a request to
withdraw from the program. requests will not be considered
until received in writing. if approved, a pro-rated refund
will be given based on the time notification is received. a
100% refund of the total paid less the non-refundable
deposit will be given if the teacher training level 1, level
2, or 500-hr has not yet started. no refunds are available
after the start of teacher training level 1. a 50% refund
will be given up to the third weekend of teacher training
level 2 or 500-hr. after these time periods, no refunds will
be given. if teacher training level 1 has not yet begun
and student decides to transfer registration to a different
studio location and/or date, a $50 administrative fee will
be charged. there are no exceptions made to this policy.
if a teacher training level 2 option 1 student decides they
cannot finish the training in one year or they miss more
than 10 hours of the training s/he will need to switch to
option 2. option 2 allows a student to finish over 2
consecutive years at a slightly higher rate. the option 1
fee already paid will not be refunded and the additional
cost for option 2 will be due at the start of the second
year of training.
we understand that emergencies and other life situations do
arise. we recommend that you carefully review your schedule
and upcoming obligations to ensure that you can commit fully
to teacher training. making up hours missed or completing
the training during a subsequent offering are options only
in the face of extenuating events and will be extended by
the creative director or teacher training director on a
case-by-case basis.
what is the workshops cancellation policy?
once you register for a workshop, your space is reserved for you. if you need to cancel, you must contact the studio (by phone, email to info@tranquilspace.com, or in person) 72 hours or more before the workshop. you will receive account credit less a $5 administrative fee. no credits will be issued within 72 hours of a workshop. if tranquil space cancels a workshop you have the choice of a refund or account credit.
what is the national retreat cancellation policy? no refunds will be issued unless your space can be filled with someone from the waiting list. if your space is not filled, a credit toward future tranquil space offerings will be issued ONLY if the cancellation is received one full week prior to the event minus a $100 administrative fee. NO credits or refunds will be issued if cancellation is received within one week of the event. if we must cancel due to insufficient enrollment, your deposit and paid balance will be refunded fully.
what is the international retreat cancellation policy? no refunds will be issued for your deposit. no refunds for your balance will be issued unless your space can be filled with someone from the waiting list. if your space is not filled from the waiting list, a credit toward future tranquil space offerings will be issued ONLY if the cancellation is received one week prior to the retreat minus the deposit and a $100 administrative fee. NO credits or refunds will be issued if cancellation is received within one week of the event. if we must cancel due to insufficient enrollment, your deposit and paid balance will be refunded fully. what is the studio rental cancellation policy? a refund on your deposit will be issued only if we receive notice within 96 hours (4 days) of the need to cancel, minus a $20 administrative fee. a credit of your deposit toward classes or workshops will be issued ONLY if the cancellation is received 48 hours prior to the event, minus a $20 administrative fee. NO credits or refunds will be issued if cancellation is received within 48 hours of the event. what is the private sessions cancellation policy? your session time and the teacher's time is reserved for you. if a private session is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the session, the fee will be charged in full.
what is the spa cancellation policy?
Your session time at tranquil space is reserved specifically
for you. All appointments require a credit card to be
reserved. please note cancellations must be made 24 hours in
advance of the scheduled appointment, or the session will be
charged in full. Missed appointments will also be charged in
full.
